- A fully integrated and easily adjustable automation system for lighting, curtains and blinds, climate control, audio and video in the Koroni Royal Villa at the Romanos resort and the Methoni Royal Villa at the Westin
- Guests can listen to music anywhere they like from any number of sources, and there are multiple docking stations available in both villas. They can also adjust the volume, source or lighting using the touchscreen keypad in each room
- There are two portable wireless touchscreens and two iPads that can be used to adjust many features throughout each villa including in the home cinema. The keypads and the touchscreens are also automatically dimmed to reflect a room’s ambiance
- The management team can balance natural light and shade from a touchpad. It is all done silently, remotely and either for dramatic effect or to save energy. We have also fitted a variety of window shapes and sizes to accentuate each room’s best features
- Installation of a special waterproof TV and an IP-rated, 90-degree motorised wall mount so guests can watch from their bed while enjoying views of the Mediterranean
- We also designed and installed a home cinema system in the living room with an extra audio zone in the pool area, so guests can enjoy music there too
- Special in-wall mounts (rotating 180 degrees), TVs and audio systems were installed in every room of the Master Infinity Villa and the Ambassador Villa. We also designed and installed a home cinema in each living room
- Digital signage was installed with special mounts in all the meeting rooms throughout the resort
- In the bowling room and restaurant, we provided and installed the AV system for the 25-seat indoor cinema as well as the outdoor cinema
- Special TV mounts in all the above areas, and audio in the Ana Zoe SPA (43,056 sq. ft)
- Advanced Integration completed the installation of all the TVs and IP-streaming solutions in the 766 rooms at Costa Navarino along with the public areas including golf club, restaurant and bowling room
- The 1,010 installations, special TV mounts, AV installations in 40 suites plus two automation systems in the Presidential Suites were all completed in less than 45 working days, with just eight staff members and two supervisors.

The luxury resorts in the Navarino Dunes are widely considered to be among the best in the world. They offer an irresistible combination of old Messinian charm, contemporary architecture and impeccable hospitality. Clearly, anyone working on this site would be held to the highest standards.
Advanced Integration was asked to develop and install intelligent control products that would offer unrivalled performance, reliability and versatility while also blending in with the aesthetics.
The architecture in Navarino Dunes is based on the principles of bioclimatic design. Old mansions and traditional rural houses, with clusters of low-rise villas made from regional timbers, iron and native stone.
A key challenge was to install multiple TVs without interfering with the architectural landscape and interior design concept. Indeed, there were a number of other restrictions in place to protect the natural environment, so we had to tread very carefully.

We discussed lots of ways to meet the client’s objectives. Above all, our bespoke solutions had to be premium and enhance the customer experience but also adaptable so the venue could be used in several ways.
One system can control guest rooms, lobbies, function rooms and reception. Each area can have a standalone system or be networked together for maximum control. The system can be easily expanded to allow for upgrades and renovation.
There were eight different TV models (including LED, LCD and Waterproof TVs) that had to be sympathetically styled as part of the supply and installation. The contractor’s engineers and architects carefully choose appropriate mounts to complement a wide variety of room styles.
Collaboration was crucial on this project. We worked closely with the architects, civil engineers, interior designers, contractor, the management company and other partners. AI had its own office on site, which helped us to work more efficiently.
We supervised every stage of the installation process for a year and a half, testing exhaustively, determined to deliver an exceptional outcome under tremendous pressure.
