Project Brief

Beside the automation system that we installed in all the apartments of the building, we were commissioned additional work for this 4000 sqft, 5-bedroom penthouse duplex. In particular, we were asked to upgrade the entertainment system and make sure everything was clearly labelled and documented. Moreover, remote monitoring support was needed.

Project Outcome

We replaced the existing Savant controller with a Crestron CP3, then proceeded with the necessary programming and the integration of the Lutron lighting system. All existing cables were tested and the ventilation in the rack area was improved by installing a thermostat-controlled fan system. A Crestron touchscreen was installed on-wall in the main entrance, and table dock stations for iPads were provided for added convenience. For the entertainment system, new TV mounts and loudspeakers were installed in the ceiling and multiple zones were created (12 audio zones and 7 TV zones, with provision for two additional TV zones in the dining room and outdoor area). Like in the other apartments, everything is accessible via our bespoke interface.
