Recently, The Telegraph featured Costa Navarino in an article about super resorts. As the article explains, the resort is due to re-open on the 19th of June and, besides being in an area declared as low risk by the Greek government, will also implement extra measures to ensure the safety of both the guests and the staff.

We’re proud to have worked on this gorgeous project to install a premium automation system. Our collaboration started when the resort was built in 2008 and, as with most of our clients, we maintain a long-standing working relationship, offering support and maintenance throughout the years.

Our main goal was to deliver peace of mind by creating a low-maintenance, reliable system that could stand the test of time and be easily upgradable for the years to come. We offered a high level of customization from both an aesthetic (e.g. a wide range of elegant keypads to choose from) and functional point of view (bespoke interface and custom programming of many different scenarios to meet the mood and needs of all kind of clients). Every piece of equipment was thoroughly tested, and we chose brands with extended guarantees in place. On top of the technical drawings, detailed documentation and manuals that we delivered as part of the handover, we have maintenance agreements in place and work closely with the resort’s maintenance team.

The Costa Navarino was designed by MKV design and includes two 5-stars hotels, the Westin and the Romanos.
We had the pleasure of working in both to install audio and video solutions, as well as a fully integrated automation system for the two presidential suites to control lighting, curtains and blinds, climate control, AV entertainment and home cinema. Besides installations in several suites, we also provided the AV system for the indoor and outdoor cinema, as well as digital signage for the meeting rooms and IP-streaming solutions in all the 766 rooms and public areas (including golf club, restaurant and bowling room), for a total of 1,010 installations.

Everything was designed to allow easy operations even by less tech-savvy guests and all the installations were carefully planned to blend with the architectural landscape and interior design concept. Moreover, all the work was completed in less than 45 working days, with just eight staff members and two supervisors!
