After a long and thrilling wait, the award winners were finally announced. Thanks to the organizers and congratulations to all participants, we were extremely happy to take part in these awards!
As you may already know, we were in the TOP 3 finalists for the Residential Project of the Year.
The response we received for our project has been amazing and represents an important step for Advanced Integration. Our journey started in Greece over 25 years ago and, in just six years of presence in the UK, we managed to secure many high-end projects all around London. The results we are achieving motivate us to keep meeting and exceeding expectations in every project we deliver!
The Mansion
The project we were shortlisted with is a stunning 25000 sqft mansion, which happens to be the most expensive house on sale in London this year (for the whopping amount of £75 million!).
Using the words of our CEO Marios Tsiftis,
“Given the scale of the project, we had to treat it like a boutique hotel, rather than a private residence. We integrated a Crestron home automation system with the BMS, designing a bespoke interface with a sleek design and intuitive controls for both the residents and the housekeeping staff. At the same time, we arranged each piece of equipment neatly and with the utmost care, labelling and documenting everything thoroughly for easy maintenance”.
We went the extra mile to simplify the life of our clients and optimize budget in the process. Thanks to the integration of the Building Management System (BMS) with Crestron, the house went from 48 zones that needed climate control (each with its individual heating and cooling control unit) to a unified system with a bespoke interface that can be accessed via iPad, touchscreens or remotes. Answering the door from the same interface was also made possible and, since the underground car stacker was integrated as well, residents can choose which car they want from their phone!
Seamless Entertaining Experience
Thanks to our system, the music and video content follow clients around, so they never miss a song from their playlist or a scene from their favourite movie. Moreover, we made all the equipment as discreet as possible: motorized TV lifts allow to hide the TVs at will (e.g. in end-of-bed cabinets), mirror TVs were installed in the master ensuite (his and hers) and completely invisible speakers were installed in the ceiling.
A similar approach was followed for the Dolby Atmos home cinema, which was also recently featured in a case study by Home Cinema Choice.
If you haven’t yet, take a glimpse of this gorgeous project in the promotional video we shot there.
