We are glad to share that our luxury mansion project was featured in another case study, this time by Origin Acoustics.
Being it such a huge project, of course we used several speakers brands depending on the specific needs (e.g. we installed M&K Sound speakers in the home cinema).
Origin Acoustics speakers were installed in the pool area, gym, games room and garden. We choose the Director collection for the indoor areas, and Landscape speakers for the outdoor. The main aspects we considered were quality, power, ease of installation/upgrade and reliability.
Powerful bass and compact size
For the games room and the gym, we used respectively six D83 and two D85.
The games room proved to be particularly challenging as we had a very low ceiling (10,5 cm depth). We choose the D83 model as it was the most powerful in db and quality to fit and meet the requirements. The magnetic grill was also a much-appreciated feature, as it can be easily removed and replaced. Moreover, another crucial feature was that the tweeter and woofer swivel, so we could fine-tune the sound to allow our clients to enjoy the music in the TV area while avoiding disturbing people playing billiards.
For the gym, the main aim was to let clients pump up the volume of their favourite workout playlist, thanks to premium quality and powerful bass.
Waterproof certification and minimal impact
In the pool we used the D109 model, which has an IPX6 weatherproof certification and features a 10’’ (254mm) woofer that presents on the ceiling as an eight.
Thanks to the easy installation, we were able to avoid damaging the ceiling (as you can see in the picture below, the impact during installation was minimal) while providing powerful speakers that can also be easily replaced or upgraded in the future.
Finally, in the garden we installed eight LS64 bullet-style speakers and an OSUB10 10″ burial subwoofer.
