We were tasked with the design and installation of a fully integrated home automation system with a bespoke interface. This involved the integration of the Building Management System (BMS) and Lutron lighting with a Crestron system which would also control blinds, A/V and home cinema.
Everything needed to be easy to use and also accessible from iPhone and iPad.
First of all, we integrated the BMS, the lighting system (also adding new scenes like an “All House Off”), a music server and the controls of two TVs and soundbars in the living room and master bedroom.
Then, we performed further tweaks on the TV systems, added speakers in the Ensuite and throughout the apartment, added motorized shades and curtains in three bedrooms and the living room.
We also added a 34’’ tall AV rack to accommodate the home theatre equipment and finalized cabling and Wi-Fi setup.
As per client request, we designed a custom-made graphical user interface (GUI) for iPads, iPhones and Crestron TSR310 handheld touch screen remote.
